The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
Love these stories.
Made my journey to and from work thoroughly enjoyable
Charming & brilliantly distracting
I have not indulged in any of the old classic before and took it upon myself to have a change of scene for my imagination. I am a mother of two young boys and have recently found it hard to enjoy a previously much enjoyed hobby such as reading; however these little episodes were perfect and bought much excitement to my nighttime shenanigans with two small people.
A great read following the fantastic 'Lost World' and I can not wait to discover more of Sir ACD's writings.
Great bedtime reading
Brilliant short stories, gripping at times, not bad from the pen of the original Portsmouth Football Club goalkeeper!
Fantastic, Imaginative & Entertaining
The book doesn't disappoint, while I've been reading this book of short stories the voices I hear in the conversations are of Basil Rathbone & Nigel Bruce, which in my humble opinion are the definitive movie pairing for Messrs Holmes & Watson
